Founded in 2009 but professionally launched in 2015, Kykinkz is a product line that came into existence due to the realisation that not many products exist by Africans, for the African hair.

A little girl born with a full curly hair, suddenly experienced alopecia and despite the use of numerous expensive products, nothing worked.

Not until the mother had an epiphany that solutions needed by humans for localized problems, usually exist within their immediate environment. And as such, she figured that she did not need to put high hopes in foreign hair products that were probably created for the specifics of their own environment.

Haven been empowered with several trainings about organic products and essential oils while in the UK, she embarked on a journey to formulate the perfect blend of natural raw materials that could actually be used to combat this problem that her child faced. And this led to the birth of the brand KYKINKZ.

Once she realized that the products worked, she proceeded to introduce same to people around her who had the same issues and it worked. She then took a leap of faith and cut her own hair for the first time in her adult life and she attained the pre-cut length in about 2 years despite it being natural hair. She also discovered that natural Afro is actually easier to manage than processed hair and that one doesn’t have to undergo strict regimen to grow an African hair.

Armed with various knowledge and experiences, she decided to cut her hair again, to ensure it was not just coincidental that the first growth occured. This time, she attained the same length of hair growth as before, in less than 2 years.

This meant she was on a right path!

And then came her second child, a boy, who also experienced the same alopecia but this time, the mother did not fret. She merely applied the product as she now knows how to. And in just a couple of months, he developed a full mane that needed a weekly visit to the barber shop until they had to stop.

Now used for a wide array of hair and scalp related problems, and by many people with verified results; Kykinkz recently got rebranded to present a better packaged wide array of product. Also, a baby sister product line was introduced under Kykinkz, called CRAFTED BY NATURE.
