The 6th edition of Ibadan Business Festival is set to hit your waves with a loud bang!

Ibadan Business Festival is organized by Ibadan Business Hub, an organization dedicated towards Repositioning Ibadan through the growth and development of small and medium scale businesses, creating visibility for same, and with an ultimate goal of positively impacting the growth, development and economy of Oyo State.

Ibadan Business Festival 6.0 will hold on the 15th, 16th and 17th December 2023 at the Liberty Stadium, off Ring Road, Ibadan.

The event is themed The HOMECOMING event, with an expectation that it will host a variety of performances and activities that are sure to keep Ibadan in the rightful festive mood for the said period.

Until now, Ibadan has notoriously been popularized as poor downtrodden city (as depicted by the brown roof narrative), which houses local and laid back individuals (as branded by comedians) with inferior quality of goods and services.

We stand as stakeholders in this beautiful city to put a stop to the above narrative. Ibadan, like any other location is an environment…an environment that can be to anyone, whatever the person so chooses for it to be, either positive or negative.

Further, despite the numerous brown roofs, Ibadan is full of beauty, houses some highly intelligent and creative individuals, and even qualitatively train a lot of mega minds that relocate to build other cities.

The Journey to Reposition Ìbàdàn is a long and tedious one, but we forge ahead with the understanding that the journey of a thousand miles start with a single step.

We the stakeholders rise to affirm that Ibadan is our city, and it’s time to take over the narrative!

One of the ways we hope to change the above narrative is to help contribute to the growth and development of associated businesses in the city. This, and the ultimate goal of influencing the growth of trade and commerce in the city, form the core goal of the IBADAN BUSINESS FESTIVAL.
